An horrific story: Atatiana Jefferson..

But first, it's been a whirlwind..

I had the privilege of again filling in for two of my heroes, Eric Harley and Gary McNamara on Red Eye Radio, across America on 250 radio stations, including NYC/LA/CHGO/DC, etc.  Great privilege, but exerts a lot of pressure on my family.  I thank God for my wife and kids, who willingly agreed to this difficult exercise.  Previously, we'd done 1 and 3 nights, but this was the first full week. And I don't do work when I'm off..so it was double time! :)

We ALSO had the TRUMP RALLY!! That was AMAZING, especially with our studios RIGHT WHERE IT ALL HAPPENED!!  And to share it LIVE with you and then a NATIONAL audience right afterwards..was incredible..and..That rally gave us ALL a HUGE shot of encouragement and adrenaline in the arm, didn't it?!!  #MAGA, baby!

On to Atatiana Jefferson...

I felt punched in the gut.  How could a similar incident happen AGAIN..so soon after the Guyger Trial..and in Fort Worth??

There are a few FACTS that I MUST get out NOW:  The 8 year old nephew says his aunt pulled out her gun and lifted up and pointed it at the window.  I appears she opened the blinds with the gun pointed at (now former) Officer Aaron Dean.  

Did he have to identify himself when a gun was already pointed at him??  That's a ridiculous question, period.  Even more so on an "Open Structure" call.

This was NOT a "Welfare Check": The neighbor who called police told us that he went 1/2 way across the street to check on the house/folks, when he realized he should have a WEAPON.  He didn't.  He didn't feel safe.  That's why he called police; that's why they coded it as an "Open Structure" call.  Rightly so, it was very suspicious to the neighbor who knows them so well.  He grieves.  He only meant well.  I understand.  An open structure call means the doors are open..something is suspicious.  Approach without letting anyone at the house/property know you're approaching...their could be a home invasion in progress or a burglary, etc.  If you knock, to quote my 20 year veteran former cop and former prosecutor/current criminal defense attorney Pete Schulte, you could get two people-who are tied up in the back room-shot in the head.  You just don't know what's going on.

MISTAKES:

-I'm told the the cop should not have had his flashlight on..Atatiana couldn't ID him has a cop, because flashlight blocked out anything she could see of his uniform.

-I'm told the cop shot too soon.  I'm doubtful on this, upon inspecting a WFAA TV Ch 8 diagram  that shows little-if any-room to move left or right, between the fence and A/C unit--with no time to react.

Regardless, an INNOCENT WOMAN IS DEAD and a rookie cop is charged with murder.

Now, the FWPD Chief Kraus tried to appease the race pimps, as did FW Mayor Betsy Price.  BAD MOVE.  All it got them is more pimpery, calling Fort Worth a "Confederate City" and "Racist City", where the race pimps demand the Feds take over the city policing for the next 10-20 years.  

How did the city play to the race pimps?  By IMMEDIATELY charging former Officer Dean with Murder, and by the Chief saying "no officer disagrees with.."  his decision/that there is no excuse, etc.  BS-They do, they're just not going to say it out loud.

Also, that FWPD officer who did a FB post, saying "we all need to say we're sorry", this is all of us?? BS.  

YES, this is an horrific incident, but placating the race pimps will only WORSEN justice and law enforcement in FW and Tarrent Co.  We're already seeing that.
