An Old Man Finally Gets His Prize

It's like a sweet movie that we've all seen..

All his life, a man strives and chases after this one big thing..If he could just get it.  He lives his life..a good life..but never gets it.

You feel sad for the man.  You can relate to him.  He's sweet, kind and worked hard all his life.  He deserves it.

So..miraculously, somehow-somone-he croses paths with very late in his life--surprises the man with this gift!  After ALL THESE YEARS..After trying SO HARD and failing.  Now he gets it!

However, the man is so old and frail that we all know the gift is practically useless to him.  For, he cannot even use it.  But, we're all so glad for him..that he finally got it!  

In the next scene of the movie, we're at his funeral.  We tear up when we realize it's him...the old man.  And the prize?  He never got to use it..or maybe the gifter opened it up and used it "with" him, but really, the old man didn't get to use it.  The gift is on display at the funeral.

That's the story of Joe Biden getting the nomination.  I believe unequivocally that Joe will get it, but I think it's just too late.  He's barely there.  He's a place holder.  Whoever gets the VP slot will be President within a year or two, either because of his faculties going or, God forbid---and I mean this, because he's truly a likeable guy--he should pass away.

This is who a much-younger 73 year old Trump will face later this year.
