The Numbers Don't Add Up

I can see people crowing about how right they were/are and how wrong those of us are.  Dallas County now says it won't open that pop-up hospital after all...WOW.  

Yes, the numbers are way lower for Covid hospitalizations and deaths.  And yes, those estimates were with "shelter in place".  They were wrong.  But..

..I still agree with President Trump when he said today "it would have been 2 million...let's cut it in half and in half again..that's 500k..still unacceptable".  He's right.  And at about 4 weeks in, we're at 26k.  This ain't the flu.  The flu kills 55-65k in a year.  Covid-at this rate-will kill 312,000.  Not ok.  Trump and Gov Abbott are right.  

However, VERY SOON, we will, and had better start re-opening our economy..in weeks..maybe 2..and the officials are right..it'll be a slow roll out, and it has to be.

Yes, this is killing our economy and our country, but it's being done the right way..for now.

Collin County - 477 positive - 10 dead - 277 recovered 
Dallas County - 1,877 positive - 42 dead - 2 recovered
Denton County  - 521 positive - 14 dead - 182 recovered
Tarrant County  - 876 positive - 29 dead - 103 recovered 

TOTALS - 3,751 positive - 95 dead - 564 recovered 
Percent Increase - 14,327 %  ( 30 days )
