Exlcusive-DPD Widow on Chief Hall: "We Were Not Allowed a Public Memorial"
I am not aware of any 7/7 widows criticizing Chief U Renee Hall (aka "U-Haul", "Sparkles") once since that tragic night over 4 years ago. Not even Chief Brown, before leaving DPD, that I'm aware of.
This has changed.
I have mentioned some of the disturbing (to say the least) things that most don't know about the BLM terrorist sympathizers who had a party at the memorial for our 5 slain Dallas/Dart Police Officers since that horrific night in Downtown. But this was way worse and way more detailed.
First, if you didn't know, a man named Devante Peters put a party together. He purposely held it at the memorial for our 5 fallen officers, right in front of DPD Headquarters. Women and children attended, a tailgate tent was pitched..chairs were set up..and a sign taped to the memorial, saying "PARTY HERE".
The party was held just a few days before the 4th anniversary of 7/7.
It was so sick, most of us couldn't believe it.
I told you how my sources told me Chief Hall was aware of this happening (how could she not be..it's right in front of HQ) and that she had the cops "stand down". Only 2 supervisors were allowed to hang out and observe. No permit, no matter. Sick.
But then I found out more.
First, I found out Peters is on the Committee to rename S. Lamar St. after Botham Jean, the man who was killed by former DPD Officer Amber Guyger when she mistook him for being in her apartment.
That's the street where the "party" was..where the memorial is..and where DPD HQ is..and it's also the street where Jean and Guyger's former apartments were. Three Dallas City Council Members are on board with this name change. Do they know Peters is on the Committee? Are they supportive of this?
Based on this, I would think so. Here's the letter of support Council Members Medrano, Nevarez and Bazaldua signed. Mind you, Medrano is one step from taking over the Mayor's job, as Pro Tem.
At this point, I went on air and said there's no way we should support re-naming S. Lamar after Botham Jean. Why? Jean's killer, like it or not, was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison. I agree with the black Texas Ranger who led the investigation, who said Guyger should not be charged..there was no case there. But if you think Guyger was a murderer, you got your wish: Convicted, sentenced.
No life is worth more than any other. With that in mind, if we name a street after Jean, we must rename streets in Dallas where all murder victims live. And..Only 20% of Chicago's homicide cases are solved. What's the percentage in Dallas? Let's say it's 40%, double Chicago's rate. Shouldn't we name the streets after homicide victims whose cases haven't even been solved, nor gotten a conviction yet? And if we name streets for every murder victim in this city, almost every street would have to be renamed!
But then came the on-air call from one of the five 7/7 widows.
Hiedi Smith, the widow of Sgt. Michael Smith, called in. She shared a lot more, and it gets a lot sicker. Mrs. Smith says Devante Peters was actually planning on having another party at the memorial on 7/7, the 4th anniversary of her husband's killing by a BLM terrorist.
However, Smith says, once Peters got caught..first by me breaking this on my show, then WFAA TV Ch 8, he pretended he didn't know that he was desecrating a memorial. Speaking with a forked tongue, like Islamists who get caught preaching hate in their madrasas, Devante claimed ignorance.
There's more.
Mrs. Smith told me Peters and his partiers parked in a space that's reserved for our fallen officers while he desecrated their memorial..right in front of DPD HQ, days before the 7/7 anniversary.
She also told me once Peters got outted on this, he changed his even sicker plans to the macabre.
Smith says Peters moved his next party--the next one scheduled for 7/7 (the anniversary of the killings)--to the location of the murder of our 5 officers.
He literally held a party on 7/7 at the scene of the murders of our cops. That is satanic, no way around it. Mrs. Smith agreed with my assessment.
This is the guy that's one of 3 people on a "committee" to rename S. Lamar after Botham Jean. And 3 city council members are on board with these sick folks already.
Worse yet, Smith says Peters wants to rename S. Lamar, so that "every time an officer gets a paycheck, Botham Jean's name is on it", so as to shame them, like a dog who poops on the carpet, rubbing its nose in it.
Again, I sit here and think "Why are 3 Council Members already/so quickly on board with this? Why are they listening to wicked people who gleefully celebrate the murder of 5 officers and call more more of their deaths (you'll see that in a moment)?".
Widow Smith also shared direct, scathing criticism of Chief Hall.
You need to realize something before I share this with you. This woman is brave. None others have dared do this, though some undoubtedly feel the same, only Smith decided she's had enough and someone must speak out. She gains nothing from this, and may even get negative repercussions in doing this. I have made it clear that if anything goes down in that way, that I will gladly stand in the gap with my listeners in any way I can.
Smith says Chief Hall would not allow a public memorial for the 5 families and the Dallas Police Officers who wanted one. They weren't allowed to gather at the memorial, grieve, commemorate and support each other on 7/7 this year. No uniformed officers, no friends, no and family. Nothing.
Instead, Smith says they got a "Zoom Meeting" with Chief Hall that was such an insulting alternative, no widows participated that Smith is aware of. We're tracking down news reports that Hall may have claimed to have come in from a "luncheon with these families", which Smith says never happened.
Smith also says she tried calling Chief Hall and reaching out through Hall's assistant, in attempts to discuss memorial plans. Smith says Hall never returned her calls and messages. Not once.
Smith says Hall's actions have left her feeling "insignificant".
Smith also says they had to ask and ask again to get permission to do a "Back the Blue" rally with fellow Officer's wives. When they "finally" received the go-ahead, they were dismayed that Chief Hall did not attend, nor did she send out an email to all officers, telling them about it and that they could join in, nor did Hall provide any uniformed protection (officers on duty) at the rally, only a few plain-clothed officers. Note that Hall DID march with BLM and take a knee with them--but not our officers or their families for "Back the Blue" rallies.
During the "Back the Blue" rally, there were a few suspicious folks loitering in the area.
Police supporters understandably became concerned. Since they were at the memorial in front of DPD HQ, they walked to the front door to ask for someone to check the suspicious folks out. To their surprise, the front door of DPD HQ was locked!
After ringing and ringing and knocking, one officer came out. He was the only one there. They did get help, but this was not the kind of treatment they or you and I would expect them to get.
Something even more sick and sinister is what I have gotten ahold of and shared with you on air-and Mrs. Smith confirmed she has seen as well-are the sick and wicked Facebook posts of 2 of the 3 "Botham Jean Memorial Committee" members regaling at and celebrating the death of our 5 officers, along with calling for more of them to be killed in future terrorist attacks like 7/7.
I have pasted them below.
Note the posts, responses, and "likes" and "loves" from Devante Peters and Yafeuh Balogun, who comprise 2/3rds of the "committee" that the aforementioned City Council Members are supportive of. Note "committee" member Yafueah Balogun speaking to the BLM terrorist who killed the 5 officers on 7/7, saying "Dallas Police forgives you".
Lastly, some questions to ask: Is the family of Botham Jean aware of this "committee"? Do Peters and Balogun speak for them? What do they think of Peters' and Balogun's actions and posts? Do they support them? Do they want to rename S. Lamar St? If so, for the same reasons cited by Peters? Why is the City Council so seemingly supportive of this? Is there any chance of this not passing? And who's standing up for our cops?
