Guyger Trial Day 5: Amber Testifies

Sep 28th, 2019

Many were surprised to see Amber take the stand first thing Friday.

Her trembling lips and deep sobs and regret were as authentic as you can get: this is real sorrow and pain.  She is suffering, too.  No one has or will win in this.

While Guyger's testimony was strong when it came to being authentic, it was lacking when it came to explaining why she went in..My legal expert, Attorney Pete Schulte (heare him nightly at 8:30pm every day of the trial) -who whole-heartedly agrees with me-that she'll be found not guilty on any charge because of "Mistake of Fact" wishes she'd said, "Yes, I regret going in the door.  It was a mistake."  Me? I'm not so sure.  It was "her home".  She's armed and trained.  "Hide" in the hallway?  Conceal and cover?  Pound sand, I say to that.

Guyger did not look good when she said she forgot her training on de-escalation.  True, it's meaningless in this case, but it didn't look good.  Same with CPR training she couldn't recollect.

But she DID try to help Botham stay alive:  With some chest compressions with one hand whilst on the phone with 911, and sternum rubs to keep him alert/awake whilst on 911.  No blood, you say?  It's because even the first officer on the scene saw no blood on Botham's chest.  Not until FULL double handed compressions were applied.  Sadly, with the wound piercing the left ventricle of the heart-the largest and most filled-with-blood ventricle, and subsequently piercing a lung, it was hopeless.

No blood on her because until severe chest compressions were done with both hands, no blood was showing.  In fact that first responding officer SAW no blood, as he testified, and asked Guyger WHERE he was shot.  That's your proof.

YES, she was leading an immoral life, having an affair with a married man with kids.  Sexting him 2 days after the Jean shooting.  But that's simply not relevant to this case.  ALL it does is paint her as a "bad" person.  That's NOT relevant to this case..unless....the jury convicts on her actions OUTSIDE of the case, and NOT by the LAW.  They won't....

I still stand firm that at LEAST 4-6 jurors won't convict, because they're following TEXAS LAW (imagine that).

THERE IS NOW NO DOUBT that this complex was a JOKE.  23% of every resident on the 3rd & 4th floor going to the wrong door and floor, and putting in the key.  The only difference?  We officially learned that Amber's door was ALREADY ajar, so that it opened up simply when she inserted the key..

ALSO:  3 former residents (they've all left b/c this place is a friggin' disgrace--BEFORE this homicide) testified to going to the wrong floor, doors not working, locks failing and even continuing on to "their apartment", just like Amber, even though they didn't see a potted plant, or their own doormats, thinking "Well our lease says we're not supposed to have anything out there, anyways..maybe they finally took 'em all."  One man-an attorney-walked his dog for 5 minutes, only to return to the wrong floor, walk into the wrong apartment, see a purse that didn't belong-on a table that wasn't his-continuing on to the back of the apt to see a strange woman, who started screaming at him to get out of her apt.

Are the aforementioned people evil?  Are they murderers?  No, they're a school teacher and an attorney.

There is no case here.  Guyger is innocent.  Mistake of fact-Google it.

RIOT METER:

High: 9  (1-10, 10 being highest)
Too many people do not care about the facts and want a pound of flesh from this woman.  And many fools who have the "victim" mentality re: people of color, do not care at all about the truth, hate our cops, and believe in the "white privilege" drivel.
